Hi there! My name is Matt Filipek - I'm a freelance colorist, artist, traveler, & coffee addict based in Chicago, Illinois. I am a graduate of Columbia College Chicago with BA in Cinema+Television studies, focusing on cinematography & post production.

With six years of experience as a freelancer, I have worked on a wide gamut of projects including TV/Web spots, brand videos, short films, music videos, & 10 feature films. I bring my passion for color theory, art, creativity, & collaboration to every project I take on.

I have an expert understanding of Davinci Resolve & utilize it for all my grading work. Additional skills include experience transferring and color correcting 16mm/35mm film, Adobe Premiere/After Effects, Avid Media Composer, Adobe Photoshop, & Lightroom.
